To Evgeniy Bugaev, he is convinced that his works are in response to and in connection with paintings of classical academism, calling his own art as eidetic. With the interest toward metaphysics and mystical experiences, Evgeniy Bugaev manages to find the link that bridges European classical aesthetic and modern arts. In the work of "Hydrotherapeutic Procedures", the artist sees "water" as the basic element humans share. In addition, through creation "fire" represents, microcosm "egg" represents, etc., the artist intends to depict a non-narrative, mystical scene full of serenity.
